REVIEW – It has been a long time since I last reviewed any earbuds. If you read my previous reviews, you know that I like to review earbuds that have a similar design to my Apple AirPods. When I saw the Kaja Audio Go-To’s earbuds, I decided to test and review them to see how they compare other than being similar in physical design.

What is it?

The Kaja Audio Go-To’s earbuds feature Touch Control,  Noise Cancellation, and a transmission range of 33ft. They are water resistant to level IPX4.

When you open the Kaja Audio Go-To’s earbuds charging case the 2 earbuds sit snugly in their charging slots. IMO, this orientation is the normal way to open the case, the right earbud is on the right, and the left earbud is on the left. The surface of the case has the logo and 4 LEDs that indicate the charge level. The surface area on each earbud is a touch surface. There is a USB-C charging port on the bottom of the charging case.

Performance

The controls for the Kaja Audio Go-To’s earbuds are on the touch surface.

As with any wireless earbuds, when you first receive them, you should charge them fully. Once they are charged, the next step is to pair them which is standard and easy. Once paired, they automatically connect to that device each time you take them out of the charging case. One issue I did encounter several times is that they failed to disconnect when placed back into the charging case. The following photos show the operation:

These earbuds are very comfortable to wear for long periods of time and fit securely in my ears. When listening to music, they perform very well. The lows, mids, and highs are very well-balanced albeit they can definitely benefit from more bass and the ability to drop to a lower frequency.

I listened to several genres including Contemporary Jazz, Easy Listening, The Classics, Gospel, etc., and I enjoyed the sound across all of the genres. There was no discernable distortion in any frequency range.

The call quality is quite good for both parties and the connectivity range is great. I was able to use the Ear Tips that came preinstalled on the earbuds.

What I like

  • The nice design
  • The comfortable fit
  • Listening is comfortable
  • The charging case is small and compact

What I’d change

  • Could use a bit more bass

Final thoughts

The Kaja Audio Go-To’s earbuds produce a really nice balanced sound that works for just about any genre, as long as heavy pronounced bass is not mandatory. They are comfortable to wear and I enjoy listening to music and watching YouTube and movies online with them. They stay put in my ears and there is no fatigue. Well done.
