NEWS – Last weekend everyone was hating on me for writing about a wearable multi-tool, so let’s keep the trend going this weekend with another wearable EDC tool to check out. This time it’s the Polar Pupil. Dumb name (sorry guys), but I think it’s a cool looking tool. What is it? The Polar Pupil is a compass and a folding 15X magnifying lens in a titanium case. You can use paracord to create a lanyard or you can just add a chain to wear it around your neck. The liquid-filled compass has a luminous dial so you can find your way in the dark, and the magnifying lens can be used as a fire starter if the sun is shining. Want one? Head over to Kickstarter where you can pledge $59 with shipping expected in November.

  2. My first thought was “Sintered titanium” must be getting really cheap!
Other then that, the chain looks suspiciously similar to the one that comes with the Flounder.

  3. How many times have you ever needed a compass for anything. This lady has never been away from her desk. Why are people leaving positive reviews of her garbage.
